Problem
The American LINDSAY company, one of the leading companies in the Turkish and World irrigation systems sector, had demands for the collection and filtering of dust and smoke released from various manual welding lines in its European Free Zone factory without spreading to the environment and working environment.
Believing in the importance of a dust-free and smoke-free production process for healthy and safe working environments and a sustainable world, LINDSAY, which was not satisfied with the European system working at that time, was looking for a company specialized in dedusting and filtration.
The most important problem that Bomaksan had to overcome in this project was to create a solution that could use the existing system. This system was not working due to incorrect filter unit and fan pressure selections, and Bomaksan engineers had to design a system that would ensure the customer’s system would not go to waste.
Solution
Bomaksan, an expert in welding fume extraction and filtration, combined the existing 2 filter units and connected them to the manual welding line with a single powerful radial fan. He solved the problem in the manual welding line by replacing the old and non-working acrobat arms in this line with ACROBAT PRO model acrobat arms.
On the other line where the welding robot works, high efficiency suction was provided by using Bomaksan brand PKFC model Jet-Pulse Compact Cartridge Filter Unit and special hoods. Cleaned air in PKFC model filter units was returned to the working environment, resulting in serious heat savings, especially in winter.
