Wet Scrubber Gas Treatment Units
Wet Scrubber systems are advanced gas treatment technologies used to filter chemical gases—such as acidic compounds—that dry-type filters cannot capture.
Depending on the process, wet scrubbers can serve either as a primary filtration system or as a pre-treatment stage before additional filtration units.
Types of Wet Scrubbers
Wet scrubbers come in multiple configurations, but the two most commonly used technologies are:
Venturi Scrubber
Suitable for processes where the contaminated air contains both gas and particulate matter.
Venturi scrubbers are designed to capture fine particles while simultaneously treating harmful gases.
Standard Scrubber
Used when the air stream contains chemical gases only.
Standard scrubbers are not suitable for filtration of air with dust particles, making dust concentration a critical parameter in system selection.
