III Problem

There was a search for a filter unit supplier as a result of fire and general dissatisfaction in the filter unit of foreign origin installed in the induction melting furnaces of YILMAZ REDÜKTÖR (MES Elektromekanik Döküm), one of the well-established companies of the Turkish casting, reducer and motor industry.

The main purpose of Yılmaz Redüktör was a filter unit solution that did not cause any downtime in production, that could work without any problems for a long time and had a high efficiency.

Again, they were not satisfied with the low efficiency cleaning system (Reverse Air System) found in the existing filter unit, so they demanded an innovative filter unit.

III Solution

Bomaksan branded PLTF model Jet-Pulse Pleated Bag Filter Units were installed by Bomaksan with the Jet-Pulse cleaning system, which is required by Yılmaz Redüktör company, that can work smoothly for a long time, has high efficiency and has been developed and proven by R&D studies.

In the 2-burner sets used by Yılmaz Redüktör company, melting was not performed in both furnaces at the same time. For Bomaksan, which has a significant knowledge of this working operation, this subject meant a significant energy efficiency and investment savings. Thanks to the automation in these furnace sets, the suction rates of the melting and pouring furnaces were adjusted and an effective and efficient dust collection system solution was provided.
