Robot welding investment was made in the new production facility established by BENTELER, one of the world's largest companies in the automotive industry, in Gebze. BENTELER officials wanted to establish a welding fume extraction and filtration system in order to provide an efficient working environment and the spread of welding fumes released during robotic welding manufacturing. Another demand of BENTELER Automotive was to expel the factory air that was heated in winter and not to cause energy loss. In other words, they wanted the air drawn by the welding fume extraction system to be able to be given back to the indoor environment.
As a result of the detailed technical meetings held by Bomaksan engineers with the BENTELER team, it was concluded that the most suitable solution is the Bomaksan brand ECO model Compact Cartridge Jet-Pulse Filter Unit. Thanks to its compact structure, which can be mounted on robotic welding stations, it takes less space, while high filtration efficiency and long filter life have been achieved thanks to nanofiber coated cartridge filters.
In line with BENTELER Otomotiv's heat recovery demands, Bomaksan engineers added Summer / Winter mode to the system. The welding fume sucked in during the winter was passed through cartridge filters with F9 filtration efficiency, and then it was passed through hepa filters with H13 filtration efficiency to return it to the environment. In this way, while the air quality of the factory was increased, there was no heat loss.
